RAIN, SPEED, and 450,000 REASONS TO PLAN AHEAD

RECAP: F1 Las Vegas 2025 - Rain, Speed, and Brands That Showed Up

F1 weekend in Las Vegas is unlike anything else on the global sports calendar. The Strip transforms into a live racetrack, the city becomes the venue, and for three nights, the whole world watches.

This year’s Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix delivered drama before the lights ever went out. Rain-soaked trials, mist drifting across the asphalt, water spray kicking up in sheets as the cars pushed through practice laps at speed. It made for some of the most visually striking footage of the weekend, and our screens cut through all of it in brilliant, broadcast-ready color.

Even in tough conditions, Spotlight's VSTN and marquee placements held their ground. And the brands that showed up made the most of it.

The Trackside Power Players

The lineup: PwC | Meta AI | Bring a Trailer| OKX.com | Pepsi | Monster Energy | F1 Arcade | Jack Daniels

These weren't small plays. Our Trackside Package delivered 8 properties and 18 screens positioned at the exact points where cameras, and crowds, converge. Meta AI and PwC dominated both Trackside and the VSTN. Jack Daniels ran across six marquees. Bring a Trailer locked in LINQ, LIDS, and Paris. OKX.com owned Harrah's, Planet Hollywood, and the VSTN.

These smart placements weren't just visible, they were unavoidable. Planet Hollywood, Paris, LINQ Promenade, Caesars Palace, Harrah's, Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan and our VSTN towers delivered consistently strong broadcast angles as the cars sprinted through the course.

And the off-Strip Grand Gateway marquee served as an essential first-impression moment for fans arriving from the airport, catching the inbound flow during one of the busiest weekends of the year.

A First for the VSTN at F1 2025

This year also marked an exciting milestone for the Vegas Strip Tower Network.

Two of our VSTN digital billboard towers (Caesars Palace and The Cromwell) made their F1 debut, positioned street-level within the track environment itself. When the cars passed during trials, water spray shimmered across the tower faces. The screens became part of the race atmosphere, not just adjacent to it.

Three of our VSTN towers were live for F1; but by New Year's Eve, that number doubles to six, giving advertisers even more firepower across the Strip in the very near future.

Visual simulation, real opportunity. New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas is exactly this big.

The NEXT major moment is coming up fast.

F1 weekend is proof of what Las Vegas does better than anywhere else: turn a major event into a brand moment for those smart enough to show up in the right place.

The crowds were massive, the cameras were rolling, and brands that showed up in this "right place" at the right time weren't just seen, they'll be remembered.

New Year's Eve transforms the Las Vegas Strip into a sea of 450,000 people, all moving through the heart of our marquee network. It's the biggest night of the year, the most concentrated crowd Vegas sees annually, and every single one of those people will pass directly through our digital billboard placements.

Unlike a race that speeds by in seconds, NYE is an all-night event. Visitors linger, take selfies, and post.

And our marquees sit at the epicenter of it all: Bellagio, Caesars, Planet Hollywood, LINQ, Cosmo, the VSTN towers, and many more. Right in the crowded-house zones where the countdown happens, where the fireworks go off, and where 450,000 people look up.

There’s still time to book – IF you move fast. Now’s the time to call to own a piece of the biggest night of the year.
